I have dizziness sometimes out of nowhere. It has ruined perfectly good days and yesterday was one of them. I was at work at the time, and thankfully I had Meclizine with me. It started with a spinny sensation, followed quickly by a vision change – almost double vision but a little less severe; it made it hard to walk and hard to focus my eyes on the register’s screen. Within five minutes, I went to the stock room and took 25mg of Meclizine.
It took about forty-five minutes, I think…Idk actually. I don’t think I took note of the time. It might have been thirty minutes, or it might have been an hour. But anyway, I stopped feeling dizzy at some point. After another hour, I started feeling sedated, as I do sometimes on Meclizine. And it lasted. And lasted. I was sleepy for the rest of my shift. It was better than dizziness but still lousy.
I got a meal to go when I got off and ate it in the truck before heading home. Once at home, I took a long nap and then I never came back out of it fully. I was SO DANG sleepy!! Eventually, it was time to sleep for the night, which I was able to easily do as well.
I am still feeling like vertigo could hit any moment, but I am praying it doesn’t. I don’t want to lose another day.
