I spent most of yesterday helping Joshua get ready for an impromptu trip to Florida to see his best friend. The best friend’s mom was planning on driving there and asked if he wanted to come along.
When I went to Walmart for groceries, I also picked up several things for Joshua to take with him. Then, I came home and did laundry. Oh my goodness, the laundry! I took care of like five loads yesterday. But that’s mainly because of my work schedule, not Joshua. π
I had to do some administrative tasks yesterday since I was home. I had to call our attorney, text my boss, and email our county. Well, that was the most adult sentence I think I’ve ever written, lol. Anyway, it was nice to get those things done, and I got responses to all of them which was even better!

In the afternoon, once Maggie was home from work, we drove down to High Falls State Park. By the time we got there, the sky was in sunset mode. It was really beautiful and there were just enough people to feel safe…so it was pretty much perfect. And I was even able to convince Samuel to come along, which if you know him at all, you’ll know that was a parenting win!
